The Provincial Integrated Hospital in Elbląg has been equipped with the innovative heart failure early telemedical detection system. It was acquired under the Project titled „Development of modern emergency units by infrastructure modernization, extension of decision supporting systems and increasing the quality of medical services provided based on the cross-border cooperation” within the framework of the Lithuania – Poland – Russia ENPI Cross-border Cooperation Programme. The system consists of ZOLL Rescue Net Medgate telemedical server and ZOLL X Series defibrillators installed in the ambulances operated by the Medical Emergency Unit.

Top Prize in Photo Contest
Danuta Stanicka, our hospital staff member, scooped the top prize in the Photo Contest titled “Exceptional Photograph of Project Implemented within the Framework of the Lithuania – Poland – Russia ENPI Cross-border Cooperation Programme 2007-2013.”
The contest participants were asked to take an interesting photograph publicizing the actions undertaken within the framework of projects implemented under the Lithuania – Poland – Russia ENPI Cross-border Cooperation Programme 2007-2013.

Training Workshops in Kaliningrad
Medical Rescue Workers from the Provincial Integrated Hospital in Elbląg took part in the training workshops in Kaliningrad held from 12th September 2013 until 13th September 2013. The workshops were conducted in the course of implementation of the Russian and Polish Project titled: „Development of modern emergency medicine units through the infrastructure modernization, extending of decisions support systems and increasing medical benefits based on the cross-border cooperation” within the framework of the Lithuania – Poland – Russia ENPI Cross-border Cooperation Programme 2007-2013.
